The Surface Book was a revolution for Windows laptops, but not much has changed for the Surface Book 3. Are the bones good enough to keep it relevant?

  1. Lol 🤦‍♂️ the argument of “pay only for data that you use” has always been so funnily stupid to me.. in Kazakhstan you pay $5 for 40 gb. In Australia you pay, $60 for 40 gb.. 🤔😄 do I use all of the 40gb..? No 🤣 but do I want to pay 40$ for 20 gb…? 🤣 no! Coz it doesn’t cost it! 🤦‍♂️

  2. The fact is it's a tablet. Doing Blender and Red footage tests doesn't make sense. It *CAN*, but that's not what it's truly made for. Surface Laptop in this video would have made more sense.

  3. I guess this thing does not throttle. Compare that with the article about "Why Macs are slower" full of mischiefness tactics. Jeezzz, Why? Why?

The only thing I can come up maybe lack of freebees from the Apple Hell?

  4. Love this review especially when you guys use practical examples like programs and games that would be good on a specific model.

  5. Well I get the Thunderbolt agrument in terms of security, but according to multiple sources, providing not exchangeable RAM to close security vulnerability seems to be a flimsy argument. Cause extracting information form detached RAM is complex and if you're not part of a secret service unrealistic (even if it is technically definitely possible). It feels more that Microsoft earns a lot of money here with RAM like Apple do.

  6. I honestly feel that the Surface products are more of a tech demo than a serious product line. I mean Microsoft wins every time someone buys a windows laptop anyway so it’s like competing with yourself, it’s not like Apple where all the products running iOS are first party products. Don’t get me wrong, I think they’re great products, and I own a Surface RT, but I see them more as Microsoft’s attempt to make manufacturers step up their game. With the bonus of being able to make money on the side with the hardware they do sell.

  7. I am on my second refurbished Microsoft Surface Book 2 due to 'spicy battery pillow' issues first in the top of the device, and now in the bottom of the device – am waiting for replacement no. 3! Microsoft have been pretty good at replacing them but why does it happen in the first place! For a $3k laptop its pretty poor.
